Who knew a 19.5-lb person could melt your heart and make your year? Isaiah James had definitely done both before today but in case there was any doubt, sealed the deal tonight by starting to say "Uncle!". Other words in IJ's rapidly-growing vocabulary include "hot", "ball", "mama", "daddy", "apple", "kruck" (truck), "Mammy" (Grammy's name), and "owl". Yes, he is a child prodigy with numerous preschool offers. IJ also points to family members on command now and loves to run to us with hugs and slobbery kisses to share. Life is good.

Yay! Isn't it fun when they start talking? Em got mad at me when I was leaving tonight and said, "Stephanie, you can't go home now!" She wouldn't even give me a hug. Sad.
Every time she opened a present, she would ooh and ahh for a sec and then say, "let's see what else we've got" and go back for more!
