Extremely hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone. The holiday has been wonderful. Vacation began with a trip to Boulder last Friday where my Mom and I visited Natalie, Ramin, and Isaiah James. We had an awesome visit, playing basketball and trucks, swimming at the Boulder Rec, having meals together, talking, and playing euchre. We loved hanging out in their cosy cottage, nestled in Chautauqua Park at the base of the foothills of the Rockies.
We traveled home to Indiana on Christmas Eve and spent the next morning with the rest of the family. After a traditional breakfast and stocking-opening, we packed the car and were off to Gram & Papa's house in Decatur for the next couple of days. We enjoyed some sweet fellowship, including a beautiful Christmas meal (featuring the first annual smoked barbecue roast), present-opening, a Kolter peach pancake breakfast, a trip to the movies, and a dinner at Atz's (a restaurant we used to frequent as kids, famous for its ice cream). This holiday has definitely been relaxing and fulfilling.

The annual "in-front-of-the-fireplace photo"!

Isaiah and I when I arrived at the cottage. It does not get much cuter than this 16 month-old!
