It is no shocker that humans produce a ton of waste. Neither is it a new concept that we need to start becoming more eco-friendly to be good stewards of our planet and preserve its beauty for kids, grandkids, and so on. Oftentimes we feel this burden yet do not know what practical steps to take to act on it.

Two Boulderite friends, Mandy and Shauna, have invented coffeecovers, attractive personal coffee sleeves, to house your S'bucks/Caribou/local coffee joint beverage in order to decrease the amount of waste from paper coffee sleeves. Imagine your local friendly Starbuck's or Caribou going through 40 lbs of coffee sleeves each week in the name of keeping your beverage hot! This production of waste is the reality for some coffee shops around the nation/world.

You have the opportunity to "reduce, reuse, and recycle" in another area of your life by passing on the paper coffee sleeve next time you order that white chocolate or campfire mocha and instead placing it in your handy coffeecover.

Check out Mandy and Shauna's brilliance at www.coffecover.net.
